“…sometimes it happens that in the corners the soul cracks.
Don´t be afraid, don´t look back.
That when the dream of freedom becomes present,
there is an awakening
that fear will never be able to silence...”

Short Film "9:30am" | Teaser
Director: Alfonso de la Cruz
Studio: Jellyfish Animation

Synopsis: Ernesto, a boy on vacation at his grandmother's house, teaches us how moments of daily life are charged with complex emotions with simple meanings. When a problem arises that only adults understand, the child's life is affected. Ernesto must discover the secret to return everything to normal. The solution seems simple: feel more and think less.

Best Animated Short Film - 12th Morelia International Film Festival (FICM)

In 2014, I participated in the making of this beautiful short, supporting the processes of: modeling, rigging, lighting and animation. It is from this project, along with Poncho's vision, that I began to pay more attention to the small details of everyday life, to the subtlety of the ephemeral and to the importance of presence.
